Varanasi Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) is the governing body of the city of Varanasi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The municipal corporation consists of democratically-elected members, headed by a Mayor and administers the city's infrastructure and public services. Members from the state's leading political parties hold elected offices in the corporation. The present Mayor of VNN is Smt. Mridula Jaiswal. The mayor and councillors are elected to five-year terms.

Varanasi Municipal Corporation was established on January 24, 1959 as a Nagar Mahapalika under Municipal Corporation Act of the 1959 and in 1994 it was ungraded to Nagar Nigam. With 90 wards and a total area of 82 km2 the city has a dense population and witnesses huge inflow of pilgrims and tourists. The present Municipal Commissioner is Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi. The Varanasi Municipal Corporation is responsible for the planning, development and upkeep of the city and delivery of civic services to its citizens.
